It's our own design, and we introduced it to Oahu well over 7 years ago. Aren't they all they same? NO WAY. Before the inspection, we're already working on the case. We often check public records, and permit history. We check for things not being disclosed or we bring to light inaccurate MLS data in the interest of the most accurate report. We also invite our Clients throughout the entire inspection. Then, we scrutinize the home, educating our Client along the way. After that, we assemble a highly detailed Preliminary Summary, photo layout, and report body within 12-24 hours, to help you keep things moving. This system involves research facts, our Client, their Agent, and the subject- all in the interest of the highest degree of accuracy. We incorporate HomeGauge- America's finest inspection software, our own proprietary narrative Summary, and a set of large high quality photographs. This, and more is combined within a beautiful property-specific binder. Unique to this company, we're often told our product is "second to none". It's absolutely everything you need, and nothing more. No-nonsense, complete, and to the point. The fact is, this highly-professional product has helped Buyers save hundreds to sometimes thousands of dollars off the original contracted price. It has helped other Buyers avoid disaster. The ASHI Standards are a baseline for excellence. Like minimum code standards, things can always be done better. And we do just that. That does not mean we are somehow inefficient; it means our inspection clients receive nothing less than an outstanding product. Information is scrutinized. Sit down in front of a Seller with our report, and negotiate with full confidence. Now do the same with some other reports I've seen; you won't get very far. Parties will respect our report. The truth is, many inspectors put very little into report quality, offering generic (and often very confusing) check-list type reports at the end of the inspection- and usually without photos. Understand a report delivered at the end of the inspection is not be in your best interest; it is likely a rushed, inferior product. Some are hard to read, you know, those obsolete hand written narratives. Others offer computer generated reports with a few small (often grainy) photos, on regular paper. These just do not compare to our product. They are as good as the software, and user input. Our report is proprietary, property specific, personalized, and has proven itself as an excellent negotiating tool. Every year, it gets even better to insure we stay ahead. Included inside is our computer generated Photo Layout, tied directly to our separate, multi-page area-by-area final Inspection Summary. We use high-quality glossy photo stock, adding reference arrows or comments as needed for clarity. These are real photographs- not the small, low resolution photos printed on regular paper found in most software generated inspection reports. Our typical report for a modest house includes anywhere between 60-100+ crystal clear photos. Problem homes often have more than 150 photos in the layout. In this day and age, only the most professional product will do. We've got it! In addition, the report body (HomeGauge) has very detailed system information. This equates to about three times the documentation offered by most others! There's more. We also include our feedback form, contract, and our card. All Single-family homes receive photos on CD as well, at no extra cost, in addition to the great photo layout. On the U.S. Mainland? Tokyo? North Pole? No sweat! We get orders from all over the world. We'll e-mail our Summary and photos (PDF) directly to you, and can even e-mail the photos the same day as the Inspection where needed. And we'll send the binder Priority Mail, or Fed-X Overnight. We'll answer our phone, too, to help you through the process.
